Hey Prince William County employees, it’s time to vote!

This is the final step before we take our seat at the table.

WHY IS THIS ELECTION IMPORTANT?

For years, Prince William County employees have fought for a union and the right to collectively bargain. Now it’s time to vote YES. We are so close to being able to address the issues that matter to us: improving our health care and retirement benefits, winning real job security we can count on, getting paid a fair wage for our work, and being treated with respect.

WHEN IS THE ELECTION? WHAT ARE OTHER KEY ELECTION DATES?

• The election takes place from June 22 to July 22, 2026.
• Ballots should arrive in mailboxes no later than June 27, 2026 (depending on the postal service).
• This is an all-mail election using a paper ballot. Please get your ballot in ASAP.
• No ballot received after 3:00 PM PT on July 22, 2026, will be counted, so leave at least 7 days to mail your ballot back. That means mailing it by July 15 to be safe.
• Keep in mind that since BallotPoint Election Services is conducting the election, all ballots must travel to Oregon to be counted at their headquarters.
• Any eligible voter who has not received their ballot by June 29, 2026, should first check to ensure their correct address is in the County system and make any necessary changes. The eligible voter should then email the LRA with their address and request a replacement ballot. The LRA will check the address with the County. No ballots may be mailed to an address other than that in the County system.
• If you need a replacement ballot, you must request one no later than 5:00 PM on July 9, 2026. If you need one, email Sarah Espinosa, the Prince William County Labor Administrator, at SMillerEspinosa@pwcgov.org

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. After reading the voting instructions on the enclosed ballot, completely fill in the ⬤ circle next to your selection, preferably with a black permanent marker; black or blue ink pens are acceptable. Do not use pencil.

• Signing your ballot will invalidate your ballot.
• Marks made outside the circles may invalidate your ballot.
• Marking more than one selection will invalidate the ballot.

2. Once the selection is made, place the marked ballot inside the enclosed return envelope and seal it. Do not include any other material inside the return envelope.

3. Print your name and address in the space provided in the upper-left of the front of

the return envelope.

4. Mail the sealed return envelope.

• Due to the slowdown of USPS deliveries, the election committee encourages you to vote and immediately return your ballot in the enclosed RETURN ENVELOPE.
• Ballots received after 3:00 PM PT on July 22, 2026 will not be counted.
• Ballots not returned in the provided RETURN ENVELOPE will not be counted.
• Ballots must be returned by US Mail to be counted. Hand-delivered ballots will not be counted.

I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY BALLOT OR I MADE A MISTAKE ON THE ONE THAT I DID GET. CAN I GET A NEW ONE?

Replacement ballots may be requested by emailing the Prince William County Labor Administrator at SMillerEspinosa@pwcgov.org. If you need one, you must request it no later than 5:00 PM on July 9, 2026.

Note: Your request should be submitted from your work email account. If you don’t have a work email, personal email is ok.
